Pterostilbene found in blueberries, grapes, and in the bark of the Indian Kino Tree, has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine. Pterostilbene is one of many aromatic hydrocarbons called “stilbenes” and is a derivative of resveratrol. Pterostilbene and resveratrol are both stilbene compounds, closely related structurally, which gives them similar but not identical functions.*

Our synergistic blend includes:

200 mg Pterostilbene

200 mg Resveratrol

Research has found that pterostilbene may lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Shows promise for protection against atherosclerosis*

The metabolic science on pterostilbene warrants its inclusion along with other synergistic nutrients to support healthy metabolism of lipids and blood sugar*

Research suggests pterostilbene results in a significant decrease in glucose and significant increase in plasma insulin levels*

Research showed participants in the high-dose pterostilbene group (250 mg/day) achieved significant reductions in BP compared to placebo2*

Both resveratrol and pterostilbene have remarkable effects on learning and memory. Pterostilbene was the most efficacious of a group of resveratrol-like compounds at preventing loss of the neurotransmitter dopamine from memory centers*

Research shows supplementation with pterostilbene reversed cognitive behavioral deficits. This study showed working memory function was correlated with levels of pterostilbene in the hippocampus, a key brain location where memory is processed3*

Low-dose pterostilbene is a potent neuro-modulator in aging and Alzheimer’s Disease4*

Pterostilbene has superior biological activity, better oral bioavailability and metabolizes more slowly in the body than other antioxidant polyphenols, resulting in more prolonged antioxidant activity1*
